First close on Allianz Resilient Opportunistic Credit (AROC) Fund launched Feb 2021.
Our relationship began in Europe where, over more than a decade, we helped Allianz GI build out its Infrastructure Debt business in 2012 with a market leading team led by Deb Zurkow. At the same time as Dan McCarthy was leading this assignment, Daniel Muir was involved in building out the Allianz CP Renewables Equity team led by David Jones.
In 2015 the Allianz GI business looked west to the Americas, and commissioned One Search to help it build out both Equity and Debt investment teams. The success that followed was too plentiful to name here in full, but highlights include Jorge Camina (Head of Americas Infra Debt), Daniel De Boer (Head of Americas Infra Equity), and a raft of Directors, VPs and Associates to work alongside them.
Since then, we have led multiple very accretive search assignments, building out an Impact Investment team in London with Nadia Nikolova and Letitia Ferreras, and augmenting the Americas team with the hires of Marta Perez, Steve Coscia and Shannon Thomas.
